Swim vest "La Parisienne"
The striped swim vest is a limited summer collection in the style of Lucienne the Parisian!
It is essential to have a flotation vest specially designed for a dachshund. Firstly, because our vests are tailor-made. Most standard vests are too short and wide for a dachshund.
Our vests cover the entire back and help keep your dachshund afloat in a horizontal position. Thanks to the vest’s buoyancy, the dog can effectively use its legs and strengthen its back in a balanced way without having to arch its back and neck!
Even if your pet can swim, a life jacket reduces the risk of drowning in strong currents. With a life jacket, your dog will tire less easily and will be able to enjoy a swim.
The handle on top allows you to lift your dog if you’re on a boat or a stand-up paddleboard. The reflective strips ensure you don’t lose sight of your dachshund.
Finally, each vest comes with its own mesh bag in which you can store the leash during swimming and then dry the vest directly in its bag.
Care: Rinse the vest after each use with fresh water and air dry without placing it in direct sunlight.

To make it easier to choose the vest, below are indicated the back lengths of each vest by size:
XXS 25 cm (Dachshund Kaninchen and puppies 3–4 kg)
XS 25 cm (Dachshund Kaninchen 4-5 kg)
S 30 cm (Miniature Dachshund 6–7 kg)
M 35 cm (Standard Dachshund 8-9 kg)
L 39 cm (Large Standard Dachshund 10–12 kg)
Please note! The vest should not cover the entire back down to the base of the tail; it is not a coat.
